Thorn Baker EFM are currently looking for a Fabric Engineer t for 3 school sites in Wimbledon. This is a temp role starting from as soon as possible for around 8 weeks potentially longer with a company we have been working with for over 10 years and successfully placing candidates there some of which have been promoted! Please note this is a temporary role so not suitable for someone in a permanent position. The role is carrying out a list of preventative and planned maintenance tasks so you will need to be self sufficient as after your induction you will be left to crack on. They are looking for a Fabric Engineer with an FM or carpentry background to carry out tasks such as fixing doors , re-tiling , painting and minor external repairs across the site. They will provide you with tools and maintenance for this Fabric Engineer role 

What you'll get in return:

• An hourly rate of up to £16ph PAYE equivalent of a £33,500 salary 
• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm 
• Tools and materials provided
• Immediate start
• Work lasting for at least 8 weeks potentially longer 
• Weekly pay every Friday 

What you'll need

• Previous experience within a maintenance role
• Current DBS
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Full UK Driving License 
• Experience working in a variety of sectors, particularly in commercial office blocks and blue chip clients
