Technical Services Manager – Retail/Hospitality/Leisure environment
Location: Commutable from Maidenhead, Slough, Watford, Wembley, Twickenham and High Wycombe
Salary: Up to £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + 7.5% bonus + Pension + Bupa + Insurance
Hours of work: 5 days out of 7 weekly - 40 hours per week (includes weekends)
Role and Responsibilities
The Technical Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing all hard services at the site as well as a medium sized team consisting of management and engineers to carry out all maintenance and projects. The focus of this role will be to drive operational improvement through monitoring of KPIs and SLAs as well as striving to provide consistently high customer service levels. You’ll be responsible for monitoring P&L accounts, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, compliance management, monitoring reports and developing strategic plans for continuous improvement including overseeing lifecycle and projects.
This is a role which includes client facing operational management of maintenance services. You will be leading a team to ensure results are being delivered whilst providing an excellent customer service experience throughout the retail environment.
The role will also include the following duties:
- Man management – KPI & SLA
- Change management
- Project and Lifecycle management
- Health & safety management
- Liaising with professional bodies and specialist sub contractors
- Carrying out compliance audits.
Key Skills and Experience
Candidates must have;
- Experience of managing other managers as well as maintenance personnel in a customer focussed retail/hospitality/leisure environment
- Excellent customer service ethos
- HNC, equivalent or above in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical
Candidates with an IOSH or NEBOSH general certificate are highly desirable.
