We are currently recruiting for a surveyor with fire door experience , asbestos , CSCS and own transport from March onwards for work around the Midlands

We are  working with an outstanding Property Services company who specialise in fire doors and social housing and are looking to find the best multi-skilled joiners to join their award winning team

They are looking for someone based in the Midlands , ideally Nottingham to carry out survey work on properties and measure up doors and order materials. This job does not require any work on the tools as their team of joiners will complete it once you have completed the initial survey. 

There is also work in Newcastle , Leeds and London but it will be planned in in advance and will be for a couple of days to a week where they will also pay for digs for you. This job is working alone with noone reporting in to you so self management and organisation is key.

  • Carry out surveys of properties to document details of the job and order correct materials. * Carry out fire stopping work in properties
  • Record completed works on the company electronic systems
  • Work cohesively with other site trades and internal group companies
  • Ensure all installations maintain an efficient use of materials
  • Attend meetings, inductions, tool box talks and appropriate training
  • Adhere to Health Safety and the Environment processes
  • When required take the lead on installation/repair work

Essential requirements:

  • NVQ in carpentry or equivalent
  • You must have a FIRAS certificate
  • CSCS Card
  • Asbestos Awareness
