Permanent Opportunity - Regional Forklift Instructor - North West with UK travel - £32,000

This is a fantastic new opportunity for an accomplished AITT qualified Instructor who will be responsible for delivering training and induction for cleaning, waste management and forklift drivers. Your Role:

  • Provide training and induction for fork lift drivers and facilities management staff
  • Keep up-to-date on changes to AITT standard, adapting training to suit these standards
  • Follow the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) written process
  • Delivering the health and safety training
  • Effective time management: ability to manage time to deliver effective training and support other business needs where necessary
  • Take responsibility for Safe Systems of Work & Risk Assessments, keeping them up-to-date and ensuring all staff understand and adhere to them
  • Provide technical advice for all Mechanical Handling Equipment related activities
  • Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to complete audits, inspections, incident and accident investigations.
  • Full training will be given to the applicant on a regular basis.

About you:

  • Proven experience in providing forklift and Mechanical Handling Equipment training
  • Accredited AITT Instructor or other relevant bodies
  • Ability to use initiative to make difficult decisions
  • Experience of working with a warehouse/logistics or facilities management background
