The company

The company is well-established, having been going from strength to strength over the years. They are an facilities management provider who work with educational buildings , they look after multiple sites across the country and have a fantastic reputation in the industry. 

The role

You’ll be based in Reading working  Day to do you will be required to tend to any general maintenance tasks which can include painting and decoration, plastering, basic plumbing and monthly fire alarm tests. Once a week you’ll need to be on call for the night shift which is very flexible between the other Engineers ,and you’ll be part of a small and supportive team, who will be happy to assist you in furthering your own career. Hours are 7.30am – 5pm on the days when you’re not on call but the day that you are the hours will be from 11.45am -10pm

The person

  • You’ll be working independently on this static site, so you’ll be happy to manage your own workload
  • The role will involve a variation of tasks so you will need to be diverse
  • You MUST be multi skilled with the ability to carry out reactive tasks from plumbing to carpentry based jobs 
  • You’ll be customer focussed, and happy to go the extra mile for customers when required
  • You must have relevant NVQ or City & Guilds in building fabric trades or Carpentry
