BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – FACILITIES MANAGEMENT BRAND

We already have an established and successful team based in Nottingham which we are at present looking to expand into the North, South West & London regions.

In order to support our growth strategy and make the most of what is one of our fastest growing sectors we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join us

This individual would be targeted to approach a blend of decision makers within our current client base as well as prospective new business.

We have an excellent reputation in delivery so a prospective BDM will be fully supported by various recruitment teams based in our Nottingham to fulfil any potential business brought on with the aim of becoming a recognised and dominant supplier to the client in the future.

Our sales journey can be a real blend between 1 call resulting in a sale to a 12 months approach that may require sales presentations and the provision of case studies and the completion of in some cases in depth documentation.

Other key areas in order to fulfil the role:

• Use your knowledge, network, and experience to pro-actively create new business opportunities.

• Lead pitches and proposals, directing the team and adding knowledge and insight.

• Seeking and analysing feedback on the markets to develop Thorn Baker products and services to meet client needs

• Taking ownership of building and delivering the overall business development strategy

• Leading by example, supporting and coaching team members to demonstrate our core values and behaviours

Requirements:

This will be a fast paced and challenging role, so we are looking for someone who can really hit the ground running.

Ideally, you will have:

• Great negotiating skills

• Recruitment Experience ideally within FM, Industrial or Construction

• Excellent time, planning and project management skills

• Be able to successfully work on own initiative

• Excellent networking and business acquisition skills

• Be consistent, dependable and efficient

 

You must be based within a one hour commute of Nottingham.

You also need to have a full UK driving licence.
